Full Moon in Gemini, Mercury Enters Sagittarius, Mars Conjunct Jupiter

The Full Moon will be on New Year's Day, January 1, @ 17 deg sidereal Gemini. This marks the culmination of the lunar month's energy, and occurs in the lunar sign Ardra, the sign of Rudra, the God of Storms. But, countering the stormy forecast, Venus will be directly opposite the Full Moon, @ 15 deg Sagittarius. The Mutual Aspect of Venus and the Full Moon in social Gemini promises a good day for a Party, Entertainment, etc.
Mercury changes signs, leaving Scorpio and entering Sagittarius, on Saturday Jan 6. After spending two months in Scorpio, due to going through a retrograde period, Mercury finally moves on in the zodiac. The planet of Reasons & Explanations will be in the sign of Personal Beliefs for the next three weeks, promoting Partisanship and Alternate Facts. Mercury will join up with Saturn, which is now in the early degrees of Sagittarius. The Thinking planet + the Reality Check planet should make for more Realistic Thinking for the next few weeks.
Mars is conjunct Jupiter this week, in sidereal Libra. The exact conjunction will be Saturday, Jan 6, @ 23 deg Libra. The planet of Action & Haste is together with the planet of Optimism, creating an energy for Overconfidence and Impulsive Action. This is happening in Libra the sign of Idealism. Therefore be careful of rosey outlook leading to Unrealistic Action. Mars is also the planet of Aggression; Jupiter is the planet of Law. Therefore: high likelihood for more arrests in the Trump-Russia affair.
